Google Ads management for Irish businesses
Google Ads puts your business in front of people searching for your service right now. We plan the campaigns, write the ads, track what actually converts and manage the budget so you are not paying for clicks that were never going to enquire.
At a glance
- Campaign planning and keyword targeting
- Conversion tracking configured properly
- Negative keywords to cut wasted spend
- Ongoing review and optimisation
Fit
When Google Ads makes sense
Ads work best when someone already knows what they want. A burst pipe, a tax deadline, a quote before a house sale — those searches happen now, and a well-built campaign can be there. Ads are also useful when you have launched a new service and want to test demand before committing to long-term content work.
They make less sense when your service is a considered purchase with a long research phase, or when the offer and pricing page are not clear. In those cases the money is better spent on the website and on SEO first. We will say so rather than take a budget that will not perform.
Scope
What we manage
A campaign is only as good as its structure and its tracking. Both get set up deliberately, then adjusted based on real enquiry data rather than guesswork.
Campaign structure
Separate campaigns for distinct services and areas, so budget goes where it earns and performance is readable.
Keywords and negatives
Research into what people actually search, with negative keywords added continuously to cut wasted spend.
Ad copy
Clear, specific ads that set expectations and include the details that qualify a click — service, area, availability.
Landing pages
Ads should not land on a homepage that answers nothing. We point them at the page that matches the search.
Conversion tracking
Form submissions, calls and WhatsApp clicks tracked properly, so optimisation is based on enquiries rather than clicks.
Budget and bidding
Spend controlled by daypart, area and device where it makes sense, reviewed against cost per enquiry instead of vanity metrics.
Process
How a campaign is built
- 01Goals and budget. We agree what a good enquiry looks like, what it is worth, and what a sensible monthly budget is.
- 02Keyword research. We map the searches worth bidding on, separate urgent from research intent, and identify terms to exclude.
- 03Account and tracking. Campaigns, conversion actions and call tracking are set up on your own Google Ads account, with access retained by you.
- 04Ads and landing pages. Ad copy and destination pages are written together, so the promise in the ad is answered immediately.
- 05Controlled launch. We start on a measured budget, watch search terms closely and cut anything irrelevant early.
- 06Optimisation. Ongoing work on bids, negatives, ad variants and landing pages, reviewed against cost per enquiry.
Preparation
What we need from you
- The services you want to advertise, and the ones you do not.
- Your target areas and any travel or delivery limits.
- A monthly budget you are comfortable spending while we learn what works.
- Access to your Google Ads account, or we set one up in your name.
- A page on your website that matches the ad — a service page converts far better than a general homepage.
- Someone who can answer enquiries promptly. Ads create demand; the phone still has to be picked up.
Comparison
Google Ads or SEO?
They do different jobs. Ads buy visibility immediately and stop when the budget stops. SEO earns visibility over time and keeps compounding, but the timeline is measured in months and nobody can guarantee the outcome. For a new business that needs enquiries while content builds, running both is often sensible.
Ads are for now
Useful for urgent-intent services, seasonal pushes and testing whether a new offer has demand.
SEO is for later
Builds a durable asset, but needs time, content and consistent work. Details on our SEO services page.
Not sure which fits? Ask us and we will give a straight answer, including when the answer is "neither yet" — see SEO services or our packages first.
Also available
Meta Ads, without a separate pitch
We also set up and manage Facebook and Instagram campaigns, including Meta Pixel tracking. For some businesses — visual products, hospitality, local services with strong imagery — Meta can generate enquiries at a lower cost than search. For others it is a distraction.
Rather than sell it as a separate product on its own page, we discuss it as part of where your leads should come from. No invented results, no claimed case studies: campaign decisions are based on your actual numbers once live.
