SEO services for Irish small businesses
Search engine optimisation is the work that helps the right people find your pages for what they already search for. We handle the technical foundations, the page structure and the local signals — and report what actually changed.
At a glance
- Technical, on-page and local SEO
- Search Console and Analytics configured
- Work scoped after an audit
- No ranking guarantees, ever
The basics
What SEO actually involves
SEO is not a trick or a single task. It is three overlapping areas of work: making sure Google can crawl and index the site correctly, making each page clearly about something specific, and earning enough signals — links, reviews, consistency, genuine usefulness — for Google to trust it for that topic.
Most small business sites lose opportunities on the first two long before they need to worry about the third. Duplicate or missing page titles, several H1s, thin pages targeting every service at once, no sitemap, broken canonicals, or a site that takes six seconds to load on mobile: these are fixable, and fixing them is usually the highest-return work.
Scope
What our SEO work covers
Every engagement starts with an audit so the work is based on what your site actually needs, not a fixed checklist sold to every client.
Technical audit
Crawlability, indexation, status codes, duplicate URLs, canonical signals, sitemap and robots.txt — the plumbing that lets Google use the site properly.
On-page optimisation
One clear topic per page, a single H1, logical heading order, descriptive titles and meta descriptions, and internal links that make sense.
Keyword and intent research
Understanding what people actually type, and whether the page answering it should inform, compare or sell — not just repeating a phrase.
Structured data
Organisation, Service, LocalBusiness, FAQ and breadcrumb markup that describes the page accurately, which helps search engines interpret it.
Local SEO
Google Business Profile guidance, consistent business details, service and area content, and local markup for businesses serving a specific area.
Measurement
Search Console and Analytics configured so you can see impressions, clicks, top queries and which pages actually produce enquiries.
Build-time SEO
Where SEO starts when we build your website
If we are building the site, the foundations are part of the build rather than a later project. Each page gets a unique title and meta description, one H1, a self-referencing canonical URL and an index directive. The site gets a valid XML sitemap, a robots.txt that references it, breadcrumb and service structured data, and images with descriptive alt text.
Speed is treated as an SEO feature, not a bonus: compressed images, lazy loading for below-the-fold media, a lean initial bundle and layouts designed to avoid layout shift. The site you are reading uses exactly this approach.
What build-time SEO cannot do is win competitive terms on its own. That needs content, time and often links. Be wary of anyone who says otherwise.
Straight answers
What we won't promise about rankings
We do not guarantee first-page positions, a number of keywords, or a volume of traffic. Google's ranking systems are opaque and constantly changing, competitors also improve, and anyone offering a guarantee is either guessing or using a loophole that will not last.
What we do instead is measure the things that can be measured and reported honestly:
- Which pages Google has indexed, and which are excluded and why.
- Impressions and clicks per query in Search Console, and how they trend.
- Click-through rates, and whether title and description changes improve them.
- Core Web Vitals and page speed, in the field as well as the lab.
- Enquiries attributed to organic search, where tracking allows it.
Rankings remain useful as a diagnostic — if a page ranks for nothing, that tells you something — but they are not a promise we can make on your behalf.
Local SEO
Local SEO for Irish businesses
If you serve a town, city or region, local visibility matters more than broad national terms. That work is practical rather than mysterious: a complete Google Business Profile, consistent name, phone and address details, pages for the services you actually offer, and genuine reviews collected from real customers.
We do not create fake location pages or invented addresses, and we do not write reviews. If your business serves Dublin or another area, our Dublin page explains how local search shapes the site structure.
Ongoing
How ongoing SEO works
After the audit we agree a short list of priorities, implement them, wait for the data to settle, then review. Typical monthly work involves fixing indexation issues, improving underperforming pages, adding or refining content for real queries, and tidying internal links. Anything that would require a rebuild is flagged before it becomes expensive.
Pricing depends entirely on scope — a five-page local business site is a very different job from a site with hundreds of product or service pages. We quote after the audit rather than advertising a flat monthly figure that would be wrong for almost everyone.
Monthly or quarterly
Reporting and review cadence agreed up front, so you are not paying for activity you cannot see.
Content and links
Only where it is genuinely useful — no directory spam or purchased links that put the site at risk.
Clear reporting
A short written summary of what changed, what improved and what is next. No vanity dashboards.

Tell us your site address and what you want to rank for, and we'll tell you what we would fix first — and what we would not bother with.
